At Riverside Preschool we provide a "home away from home" environment where we welcome all children aged 2+
Our Curriculum
We follow the Aistear Curriculum Framework and we are a Play-Based setting; we believe that children learn best while playing. We will follow a child-led programme, where we will observe which themes are of interest to the children and then bring invitations to play around the topic. We will let the children manipulate and then discuss with us these topics while playing and having fun. Our main goal is to help children develop emotionally and socially for their future and at their own pace.
Our Routine
During the session at Riverside Preschool, some activities or invitations to play will be set up for children to join freely during both, Big Group and Small Group time. We aim to go outside to our private garden every day! Wellies and wet gear are essential!
