At Riverside Rathdrum we welcome children from the age of 1+. We are creating a warm and cosy environment for children to enjoy and learn. This full time preschool is a "home away from home" to all the little ones.

Our Curriculum
We follow the Aistear Curriculum Framework and we are a Play-Based setting; we believe that children learn best while playing. We will follow a child-led programme, where we will observe which themes are of interest to the children and then bring invitations to play around the topic. We will let the children manipulate and then discuss with us these topics while playing and having fun. Our main goal is to help children develop emotionally and socially for their future and at their own pace.

Unfortunately, we are currently fully booked and do not expect to have any availability until 2029. We also have a significant waiting list at present.
If you would still like to be added to our waiting list, please complete the form below. However, we would like to be transparent that it is very unlikely a place will become available in the near future.
We understand the ongoing shortage of childcare in the area and sincerely wish we could accommodate more families. As a small setting with just 28 places across all age groups (1+), our capacity is limited.
